With infinite grace of Shreenathji and through eternal blessings of Shree Vallabhacharya Mahaprabhuji, our dream to have a Shree Shreenathji’s Haveli in Leicester, UK became a reality in 2012.
We were proud and blessed to receive immeasurable encouragement, support and guidance from our Chief Patron, His Divine Holiness Pujya 108 Shree Dwarkeshlalji Maharajshri of Kankroli – Vadodara.
With the divine inspiration and direction of Shree Dwarkeshlalji Maharajshri, Pushti Nidhi UK established Europe’s premier Haveli that befits our Thakorji. It is set in an urban but tranquil location near the Watermead Country Park in Leicester.
The Haveli was constructed with consideration of local community and Pushtimarg culture, primarily based on the teaching of Shrimad Vallabhacharya Mahaprabhuji. The continuing enhancement of the Haveli has provided further facilities that is enjoyed by the whole community.
Over the years, we have complemented the Haveli’s main roll of Thakorji’s seva, with launch of several activities that serve the purpose of bonding and helping the local community namely weekly sessions of Yoga, Keep Fit Garba, Online (zoom) Chair Exercises, Kirtanshala, Bal Sanskar Kendra (Gujarati and Cultural Teachings for 5-15 year olds), Walking Club; fortnightly sessions of Yuva (Youth) Mandal; Regular Vatsalya Vrund Group sessions and regular advertised Health Seminars. The Haveli also houses a function hall, Dhamecha Hall, Popat dining hall, and kitchen that is used for various activities and events that benefits the Pushtimarg beliefs. Both halls can accommodate up to 300 people. There is parking facility for 40 cars on site.
Both Dhamecha Hall and the Popat dining hall are also available for hire for private functions. Please contact the Haveli for any details regarding the same.
